Job summary

CAE Inc. in Shannon, Ireland, seeks a Team Leader to guide the Engine Management Services team on diverse projects and client engagements. The role focuses on operational leadership, project and resource management, and driving quality outcomes.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with customers and the business development team, and help evolve internal processes while ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Travel occasionally onsite as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years industry experience in engine maintenance or technical services.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of aviation regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients.

Responsibilities

• Operational management of the team, including leave, 1:1s, and career development.
• Assignment of projects and resource management.
• Lead engine projects and perform key tasks as part of project team.
• Oversee and manage projects assigned to the team.
• Manage project progress, cost, and quality of deliverables.
• Define and evolve internal procedures.
• Support performance management and development with managers.
• Liaise with customers and business development to grow client base and maintain relationships.
• Assist EMS Operations Manager and Head of Engines to grow department capabilities.
