Job summary

CAE, Shannon, Ireland, is seeking a Team Leader for Engine Management Services to lead the Engine Management Services team in a dynamic aviation environment, coordinating projects and customer relationships.

Reporting to the Engine Management Services Operations Manager, you will drive delivery against scope, quality, cost, and timeline while developing the team and supporting business priorities; hybrid work 2–3 days in office.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant aviation industry experience.
• Experience in engine maintenance, engine management, technical services, or related aviation discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of aviation regulations and industry practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational management of the Engine Management Services team.
• Support employee development through coaching and mentoring.
• Manage team workload, resource allocation and leave planning.
• Assign projects and coordinate resources to meet business priorities.
• Lead engine-related projects and contribute to project teams.
• Oversee project delivery against scope, quality, cost, and timeline.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Support continuous improvement of processes and ways of working.
• Partner with leadership to support performance management and development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Business Development for customer retention and growth.
