Job summary

Ryanair are recruiting for a Powerplant Engineer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group. This desk based role will be based in our Engineering Office in Dublin, reporting to the Head of Powerplant/Deputy Powerplant Manager.

The role involves supporting engines, APUs and thrust reversers, liaising with OEMs and MRO partners, reviewing workscope, and implementing engine removal schedules. The ideal candidate has an engineering degree or EASA Part 66 license, and 1 year in a technical

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or EASA Part 66 maintenance license is required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to write or review technical instructions.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with OEMs (CFM, Pratt & Whitney, Boeing, Airbus, Honeywell) to resolve technical issues.
  • Review engine workscope and repair specifications; evaluate suitability.
  • Coordinate with MRO partners to ensure on-time engine repairs/overhauls.
  • Support engine removal scheduling and implementation of Airworthiness Directives.
  • Identify reliability issues with the Reliability Department and OEMs; propose solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations.
