Job summary

elfc in Shannon is seeking a Graduate Powerplant Engineer to join the Technical team on a structured two-year programme. You will develop core technical and commercial skills by managing the company’s global engine fleet, liaising with customers on technical matters, and updating technical records.

The role offers exposure to asset management, project coordination, and regional secondments, with opportunities to work across departments and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering, or qualified aircraft/powerplant engineer with an EASA/FAA Part 145 approval for a turbofan engine.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Asset Management - monitor engine assets on lease, liaise with customers, MROs and authorities on delivery, inspections, maintenance and storage.
• Project Management - support lease delivery, off-lease storage, transportation, maintenance planning and cost control.
• Technical Records Management - collate and archive engine records for traceability and compliance with aviation standards.
• Maintain Technical Databases - update databases for engine types and maintenance intervals.
• Regional Office Secondment - participate in a secondment to a regional office to gain market exposure and support regional ops.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical Manager and CTO.
