Job summary

Dell Technologies in Ireland seeks a Technical Support Engineer for Dell Compute | PowerEdge & Modular (B2B), fluent in Norwegian, Finnish, or Dutch. The role focuses on diagnosing hardware and software issues, providing remote diagnostics, and ensuring timely resolution for enterprise customers.

You will manage cases via Dell tools, coordinate parts dispatch, and work with escalation teams to improve support processes while delivering high-quality service to business-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of server hardware architecture (processors, memory, RAID, power supplies).
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Linux distributions (RHEL, SLES, or Ubuntu).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) in server environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a structured, methodical way.
• Excellent communication and customer service in a B2B enterprise setting.
• Norwegian, Finnish, or Dutch speaking.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on Dell PowerEdge and Modular servers for enterprise customers.
• Use Dell diagnostic tools (iDRAC, Lifecycle Controller, OpenManage) to identify root causes.
• Manage case workload and document interactions within SLA commitments.
• Coordinate parts dispatch and field engineers for on-site replacements when needed.
• Collaborate with escalation teams and contribute to knowledge base updates.
