Job summary

OpenAI is hiring a Risk and Fraud Analyst to safeguard accounts by investigating, validating, and monitoring identities and ownership structures. You will handle high‑stakes investigations involving fraud, impersonation, sanctions, and misuse of access, with a focus on early threat detection in a hybrid London/Dublin setting.

You will work with Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Support to resolve issues quickly and accurately, review sensitive content, and contribute to scalable verification systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in verifications, fraud, trust & safety, or risk investigations.

Responsibilities

• Protect the Platform and verify identities and ownership structures.
• Review and verify customer identities and organizations.
• Investigate high‑risk accounts for fraud, impersonation, or abuse.
• Evaluate documents and data from internal and external sources to assess risk.
• Enforce actions such as approvals, restrictions, suspensions, or escalations.
• Serve as case owner for complex verification and integrity cases.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Support to resolve issues.
• Handle escalations, appeals, and sensitive customer communications.
• Contribute to automation, tooling, and human‑in‑the‑loop review pipelines.
• Improve verification workflows and detection systems.
• Identify abuse patterns and recommend new safeguards.
• Drive continuous improvement and data‑driven insights.
