RECRUITERS in Dublin is seeking Senior Infrastructure / Platform Engineers to modernise core infrastructure and transition traditional services into cloud-native environments. The role focuses on Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, with a strong automation-first mindset and hands-on coding in Go or Python.
The team will migrate traditional infrastructure to cloud-native environments running on Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and resilience while delivering scalable production services.
Contract: 11 months with strong with to extend or convert.
Rate: Up to €92,000 per annum

We’re looking for Senior Infrastructure / Platform Engineers to join a large-scale technology organisation focused on modernising business-critical infrastructure and transitioning traditional services into modern cloud-native environments.
This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone with a strong Linux infrastructure background who is comfortable working across traditional infrastructure, Kubernetes and public cloud environments.
You’ll be working on highly available, production-critical services and helping transform how core infrastructure is designed, automated and delivered.
The team is responsible for modernising core infrastructure services including:
A major focus will be on migrating traditional infrastructure into cloud-native environments running on Kubernetes, while ensuring services remain highly available, scalable and operationally resilient.
You’ll ideally be someone who has grown from a strong Linux / Systems / Infrastructure Engineering background into modern platform and cloud engineering.
You should be comfortable moving between the traditional and modern infrastructure worlds — understanding how core services such as DNS, LDAP and networking operate at a fundamental level, while also being able to work with Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud platforms and automation.
The ideal candidate will enjoy solving complex infrastructure problems, writing code to automate them, and helping move critical services towards a more modern cloud-native architecture.
This is an opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure modernisation, helping transform some of the fundamental services that underpin enterprise technology environments.
You’ll have exposure to Linux, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, automation and software engineering, while working on systems where reliability and availability are critical.
