Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to design and govern internet infrastructure aligned with security, scalability and availability standards. You will collaborate with application teams to ensure architecture delivers high performance and reliability.

The role demands experience with infrastructure design, technical documents, and leading regional projects while driving continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of network, operating system principles and web middleware.
• Strong ability to generate requirements and architectural deliverables with stakeholders.
• High-energy, proactive and able to work under pressure in an independent environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Generate requirements with architects, engineers and users to meet high-level needs.
• Produce TADs, technical documents, logical flows and models to align stakeholders.
• Maintain architectural artifacts in current state and prevent obsolescence.
• Resolve internet architectural and operational problems impacting availability.
• Research and evaluate new technology for potential deployment.
• Lead regional projects with planning, time/cost control and resources.
• Implement and support internet infrastructure components per standards.
• Conduct problem diagnosis, performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Ensure system stability and future compatibility through production monitoring.
