Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to design infrastructure aligned with security, scalability and availability standards. You will generate requirements, create technical documents and ensure architectural artifacts stay current across global teams.

The role involves leading regional projects, evaluating new technologies, and delivering internet infrastructure solutions that meet member, product and backbone needs.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of network, OS principles and web middleware.
• Strong understanding of internet infrastructure design and web administration.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work in matrix teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Generate requirements with architects, engineers and user teams to meet high level needs.
• Produce architectural documents and models to keep stakeholders aligned.
• Maintain current state of architectural products and ensure obsolete artifacts are updated.
• Resolve internet architecture and operational issues affecting availability and performance globally.
• Research new technologies for potential deployment in Mastercard’s internet infrastructure.
• Possibly lead regional projects including planning, time and cost control.
