Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Platform Architect within Infrastructure Design Services to shape infrastructure frameworks that meet application and system needs while upholding security, scalability and availability standards.

You will collaborate with application teams, engineers and users to produce high-level requirements, TADs and models, ensure architectures stay current, and drive internet infrastructure initiatives across regions.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of network, OS principles and web middleware.
• Thorough knowledge in internet infrastructure design and/or web administration.
• High-energy, proactive, detail-oriented and able to function under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Generate requirements with architects, engineers, applications teams and users to meet high level needs.
• Create products such as TADs, technical documents, logical flows and models to keep stakeholders aligned.
• Maintain architectural products in current state and prevent obsolescence.
• Resolve internet architectural and operational problems impacting global availability and performance.
• Research and evaluate new technology for potential deployment in Mastercard’s internet infrastructure.
• May lead regional projects with planning, time/cost control and resource management.
• Implement, manage and support internet infrastructure components leveraging standards and best practices.
• Perform problem diagnosis, performance tuning, capacity planning and configuration management.
• Ensure system stability and future compatibility by monitoring production execution.
