Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to design and govern internet infrastructure that aligns with security, scalability and availability standards. The role partners with application teams and stakeholders to deliver infrastructure and platform solutions that meet evolving business needs.

You will generate requirements, produce technical documents and maintain current architectural artifacts, while researching new technologies and leading regional projects.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of network and operating system principles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across matrix teams.
• Ability to work independently under pressure with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Generate requirements with architects and engineers to meet high level needs.
• Produce TADs, technical documents and models to align stakeholders.
• Maintain architectural artifacts in current state and prevent obsolescence.
• Resolve internet architecture problems affecting global availability and performance.
• Evaluate new technologies for deployment in Mastercard's internet infrastructure.
• Lead regional projects, including planning, timing, and resource use.
• Implement and support internet infrastructure components per standards.
