Role Description The Plant & Machinery Sales Representative is a full-time role. The position involves engaging with new and existing customers, understanding their machinery needs, and recommending suitable agricultural, construction, and industrial equipment. Day-to-day tasks include managing sales inquiries, preparing quotations, conducting product demonstrations, and following up on leads to close sales. The role also requires maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, coordinating with service and parts teams, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The Sales Representative will contribute to showroom presentation, attend relevant industry events when needed, and support promotional activities to grow the customer base.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and customer relationship skills, including the ability to identify customer needs and negotiate effectively.
• Knowledge of agricultural, construction, or industrial plant and machinery, with the ability to explain technical features in clear, practical terms.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional approach to in-person, phone, and email interactions.
• Previous experience in equipment, automotive, or commercial sales is highly desirable; experience in the agricultural or construction sector is an advantage.
