Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy in Limerick City is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for the Allcare O'Malleys store. This is a 32-hour, 4-day position aligned to opening hours from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m.

to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, with Sunday closed. You will work with a small team in a busy dispensary, under the supervision of the Pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and patient care. Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous; newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.
• Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
