Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Stillorgan store. The role is a 24-hour permanent position with operating hours from 8.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. The team includes a Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, Relief Pharmacist and two Technicians. You will prepare and dispense medicines under supervision, manage stock, and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage; newly qualified technicians welcome.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required.
• Prepare blister packs and process/tracking claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
