Job summary

Uniphar Group is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for Tony Walsh Allcare Pharmacy in Merrion. The role is a 40-hour-per-week, permanent position with hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome, with opportunities to work under the supervision of a Pharmacist in a busy dispensary. Experience with McLernons MPS and IPU Pharmacy Technician training are advantageous, and the store offers competitive hourly rates, colleague discounts, a bike-to-work

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
