Job summary

Hickey's Pharmacy in Dundalk is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a 32-hour, four-day permanent contract. Our store operates 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays.

You will prepare and dispense medicines under supervision, manage stock levels, and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary. New-qualified technicians are welcome to apply; MC Lernons MPS experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
