Job summary

Select Ambition in Limerick is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support the dispensary and provide a welcoming service to customers. The role is on-site in Limerick City with options for full-time, part-time, or a four-day arrangement, including one Saturday per month.

Responsibilities include preparing and dispensing medicines under supervision, assisting customers with OTC products, and referring clinical questions to the pharmacist. Applications handled confidentially.

Qualifications

• Essential: experience as a Pharmacy Technician and ability to dispense medicines under supervision.
• Strong customer-service skills and experience with over-the-counter products.
• Good communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently within a busy pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist customers with over-the-counter medicines and products.
• Support customers with minor ailments and refer questions to the pharmacist.
• Deliver patient-focused customer care and maintain an organised dispensary.
• Work accurately in a busy pharmacy team and day-to-day service.
