Job summary

Uniphar Carrick-on-Suir Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in Carrick On Suir. This is a 40-hour, five-day permanent role with a supportive team including a Retail Store Manager and Pharmacist supervisor, in a busy dispensary environment.

The role involves accurate dispensing, stock control, blister packaging, and assisting the Pharmacist. Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply; McLernons MPS experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 4 Technicians.
