Job summary

Gallagher Ireland is hiring a Personal Lines Account Handler in Wexford to support clients with personal insurance needs, convert enquiries into policies, and work as part of a team that values clear communication, accuracy and compliance. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, assess client needs, prepare quotes, and manage policy renewals while upholding regulatory requirements and Gallagher policies.

Qualifications

• APA qualification required.
• Experience working towards sales targets while delivering clear customer service.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and communicate clearly by phone and in writing.
• Ability to explain cover, pricing and policy details in simple, accurate language.
• Organised approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Willingness to complete annual CPD and Minimum Competency Code requirements.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound sales calls to convert leads into policies.
• Assess client needs and recommend suitable insurance products.
• Prepare and present quotes with clear cover details and benefits.
• Follow up on enquiries and quotes to improve conversion rates.
• Contact clients to discuss renewals and support continued cover.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotes and sales in the CRM.
