Gallagher Ireland is seeking a Personal Lines Account Handler to join our Kilkenny team. In this full-time, permanent role you will support clients with their personal insurance needs, turning enquiries into policies and delivering accurate, compliant service.

Qualifications

• APA qualification required.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Experience working towards sales targets with strong customer service.
• Ability to communicate clearly by phone and in writing.
• Ability to explain cover, pricing and policy details in simple, accurate language.
• Organised approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Willing to complete CPD requirements and maintain Minimum Competency Code.
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Handle inbound and outbound sales calls to convert leads into policies.
• Assess client needs and recommend suitable insurance products.
• Prepare and present quotes with clear cover explanations.
• Follow up on enquiries and quotes to improve conversion rates.
• Contact clients about policy renewals and continued cover.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products.
• Manage lapsed policies and re-engage clients.
• Support clients with queries, complaints or escalations.
• Build long-term client relationships with reliable service.
• Maintain records of interactions, quotes and sales in the CRM.
• Stay updated on insurance products, pricing and compliance.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager to meet targets.
