Job summary

Gallagher Ireland is seeking a Personal Lines Account Handler to join our Wexford team. You’ll support clients with personal insurance needs, convert enquiries into policies, and work with a team that values accuracy and compliance.

In this full-time role you’ll manage renewals, identify upsell opportunities, maintain clear client records, and stay up to date with regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• APA qualification is required.
• Experience in a similar role is beneficial.
• Experience meeting sales targets while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, both phone and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Willingness to complete CPD and maintain competency requirements.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound sales calls to convert leads into policies.
• Assess client needs and recommend suitable insurance products.
• Prepare and present quotes with clear cover details.
• Follow up on enquiries to improve conversion rates.
• Discuss policy renewals and support continued cover.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products.
• Manage lapsed or at-risk policies and re-engage clients.
• Address client queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
• Maintain accurate client interaction records in the CRM.
• Stay updated on insurance products, pricing, and compliance.
