Job summary

CPL Healthcare is seeking a committed Person in Charge in Sligo to join a residential service for vulnerable young people. The role involves leading a team to deliver high-quality social care, ensuring safety and well-being in a permanent capacity.

The post requires a Level 8 Social Care qualification (or Level 7 with management credentials) and at least five years’ direct residential childcare experience. IT skills (Word, Adobe, Excel) and a full valid driving licence are essential for daily

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 8 Social Care qualification.
• In cases where level 7 Social Care has been achieved, this must be accompanied with a qualification in management.
• Five years’ direct experience of working in residential childcare, and/or managing services to vulnerable children and young people.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Proficient IT skills and understanding of utilising Word, Adobe, Excel etc.
• Full clean drivers licence which has been held for more than one year.

Responsibilities

• Join our clients’ team on a permanent basis and work as part of a team in providing the necessary care to vulnerable young people within their residential service in Sligo.
