Job summary

Osborne Recruitment in Dublin is seeking experienced Payroll Specialists from industry or practice backgrounds. You will manage weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for Irish clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Ideal candidates hold IPASS Payroll Techniques and have 3+ years of payroll experience, with proficiency in Sage Payroll and Brightpay, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• IPASS Certificate in Payroll Techniques
• 3+ years of experience working with payroll in the Irish jurisdiction
• Experience managing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll
• Demonstrable experience in Sage Payroll and Brightpay or similar systems
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Check totals for hourly-pay employees and remedy issues
• Calculate sick pay, holiday pay and other statutory payments
• Process weekly payroll data accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with HR and senior management on employee data and paperwork
• Ensure payroll remains compliant with Irish legislation and taxation
• Process new starters and leavers including accrued holiday pay
• Calculate salary changes, pro-rations and back pay where needed
• Answer payslip/timesheet/finance queries

Payroll Specialists Here at Osborne, due to demand from our Dublin-based clients, our accounting and finance recruitment team is currently seeking experienced Payroll Specialists coming from industry or practice backgrounds.

Salary Ranges:€35k-€45k DOE Location: Various across Dublin

Do you have:

• The IPASS Certificate in Payroll Techniques?
• 3+ years of experience working with payroll in the Irish jurisdiction?
• Experience managing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll?
• The ability to deal with large, complex payrolls?
• Demonstrable experience in Sage Payroll and Brightpay or similar systems?
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills?

Role and Responsibilities

• Checking totals for hourly-pay employees and remedying any issues.
• Calculating sick pay, holiday pay and other payments required by statute.
• Processing weekly payroll data efficiently and precisely.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders (e.g. HR, Senior Management) regarding employee data, and any exceptions in paperwork, entitlements etc.
• Ensure payroll operations remain fully compliant with Irish employment legislation and taxation requirements.
• Processing new starters and leavers, including accrued holiday pay.
• Calculating salary changes and updates, pro-ratas and any back pay required.
• Answering queries relating to payslips, timesheets and other finance matters.
