Job summary

GPC Finance is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll for a diverse client portfolio. This on-site Dublin role requires delivering accurate payrolls weekly, fortnightly and monthly while ensuring compliance and high service standards.

You’ll provide technical payroll expertise within the Employment Tax Team, liaising with clients and ensuring timely data collection and resolution of queries with precision and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a fast-paced Irish payroll environment.
• IPASS or similar payroll certification preferred.
• Strong MS Excel skills and payroll software experience (Quantum, EuropayX, Sage Micropay).
• Familiarity with ROS and EFT processes.
• High accuracy, strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for clients.
• Act as subject matter expert on payroll tax matters within the team.
• Liaise with clients, gather data, resolve queries, and maintain service.
• Handle starters, leavers, deductions, pensions, BIK, and tax docs.
• Prepare PAYE, PRSI, EFT files and review payroll reports.

Our client, a well‑respected accountancy practice based in Dublin, is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their growing team. The Payroll Manager will play a key role in delivering outsourced payroll services to clients across a wide range of industry sectors, each with their own diverse payroll requirements. This is a fully on‑site role, you’ll manage end‑to‑end payroll operations, provide technical payroll expertise within the tax function, and ensure the highest standards of compliance, accuracy, and client service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Act as subject matter expert on payroll tax matters within the Employment Tax Team.
• Liaise with clients to gather payroll data, resolve queries, and maintain a professional, efficient service.
• Handle starters, leavers, statutory deductions, pensions, BIK calculations, and tax documentation.
• Prepare PAYE, PRSI, EFT files, maintain accurate records, and review payroll reports prior to client distribution.
