Job summary

Martin Ryan Haulage Ltd invites applications for a Payroll & Accounts Officer to join our Cappamore team. You will manage weekly/monthly payroll processing, handle supplier accounts, and support month-end tasks while ensuring compliance with Irish payroll legislation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in payroll and accounts, is proficient in Sage, Brightpay, and Excel, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and communication skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with legislation
• Handle payroll queries, deductions, and reporting using Sage, Brightpay, Excel
• Support day-to-day accounting: supplier invoices, reconciliations, bank and cashflow tracking
• Assist with month-end/year-end processes and resolve discrepancies

Payroll & Accounts Officer

Location: Cappamore, Co. Limerick | Full-time | Permanent | 40 hrs/week | Salary: Competitive

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ payroll & accounts experience
• Strong payroll knowledge, accounting/reconciliation experience
• Proficient in Sage, Brightpay, Excel; excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with legislation
