A growing professional services firm is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Payroll Executive to join its expanding outsourcing team. This position supports both payroll and accounting functions and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Executive to progress their career in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Experience within an accounting practice is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls using payroll software such as Sage Payroll and BrightPay.
• Ensure full compliance with Irish employment and taxation legislation.
• Prepare and submit all payroll‑related statutory returns (including PSRs).
• Respond to client payroll queries and maintain strong client communication.
• Stay informed on updates to payroll legislation and Revenue guidelines.
• Support the wider outsourcing team across both payroll and accounting tasks as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in an accounting practice is essential.
• Minimum 1 year in a similar role is required
• IPASS payroll qualification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll processes and legislation.
• Proficiency in payroll software packages.
• Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
