Job summary

Beacon Hospital is seeking a Patient Services Scheduling Agent to coordinate patient access by scheduling appointments accurately and promptly. The role reports to the Patient Services Team Leader and supports a busy administrative team in a Dublin-based hospital.

Responsibilities include handling a high volume of calls, maintaining booking channels, and ensuring data accuracy and patient confidentiality while delivering a customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing administrative roles.
• Healthcare setting experience desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy team.
• Strong keyboard and data-entry skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Answer high volume of calls and manage inquiries.
• Schedule procedures and manage appointment calendar.
• Validate insurance information where required.
• Liaise with referring physicians, staff and patients.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies.
