Job summary

Sodexo Ireland is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to lead the pastry section, preparing pastries, desserts, cakes and baked goods for daily service. You will start early each morning and also assist in the stone oven area with pizzas and flatbreads.

This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, €18.00 per hour, and site-specific benefits plus Sodexo's employee benefits package. You will work with a supportive kitchen team, maintain HACCP standards, and contribute to menu development.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastry kitchen, preferably Chef de Partie level.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, desserts, and presentation.
• Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the pastry section and ensure all preparations and production meet standards and deadlines.
• Begin work early each morning to prepare fresh pastries, desserts, and baked goods for daily service.
• Maintain consistency in quality, presentation, portions and taste.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and HACCP compliance; rotate and label ingredients.
