Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Parts Manager for an established company in Co. Roscommon. This onsite role focuses on supporting the Parts Manager, overseeing daily admin, warehousing and logistics, and developing a capable team across a nationwide dealer network.

You will build strong dealer and supplier relationships, monitor performance and drive improvements while ensuring high customer service standards and efficient stock control.

Qualifications

• Previous people management or supervisory experience, ideally within motor trade, automotive parts, distribution, warehousing or similar operational environment.
• Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and financial acumen.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, and ability to learn new systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily operations across administration, warehousing and logistics.
• Managing, supporting and developing a close-knit team.
• Supporting parts sales operations and the nationwide dealer network.
• Building strong relationships with dealers, suppliers and internal departments.
• Monitoring operational performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting efficient stock, warehouse and logistics operations.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
• Working closely with the Parts Manager and taking on additional management responsibilities.
