BYD Wexford invites applications for a Parts Advisor to join our team in a fast-paced motor environment. You will work with technicians and the Aftersales team to ensure the Parts Department runs efficiently and customers receive the right parts on time.

Responsibilities

• Booking in and locating all parts delivered daily.
• Ordering parts and ensuring the correct parts are available when required.
• Supplying technicians with parts efficiently throughout the day.
• Monitoring parts requirements and ensuring availability for scheduled work.
• Checking parts against orders and ensuring accuracy of deliveries.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and keeping the Parts Department organised.
• Pricing and invoicing parts accurately.
• Liaising with suppliers regarding parts availability, orders and deliveries.
• Assisting with stock control and regular stock checks.
• Providing excellent customer service to retail and internal customers.
• Ensuring all customer and vehicle details are accurately recorded.
• Identifying and sourcing alternative parts where required.
• Processing parts returns and warranties in line with company procedures.
• Working closely with the Aftersales Manager and workshop team.
• Supporting the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the Parts Department.

Here at BYD Wexford, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Parts Advisor to join our growing team.

This position is ideal for someone looking to kick-start or develop their career in the motor industry, with a genuine interest in cars, motor parts and delivering excellent customer service.

As a Parts Advisor, you will play an important role in ensuring our workshop and customers have the correct parts when they need them. You'll work closely with our technicians, suppliers and wider Aftersales team to ensure the Parts Department operates efficiently and professionally.

The Successful Candidate

We're looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about cars and interested in the motor industry.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong team player who can also work independently.
• Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
• Eager to learn and develop their knowledge.

• Able to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a Parts Department or motor industry is an advantage, but not essential.
• A full driving licence is an advantage.
