Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy Blanchardstown is seeking a Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor for a part-time, permanent position. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, advising customers on product ranges, and supporting stock management within the pharmacy.

You will work as part of a team, assist in all areas of operation, and participate in training programs to develop your role. A background in Pharmacy/Retail/Hospitality is preferred, with strong communication and organisational skills

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Pharmacy/Retail/Hospitality preferred.
• Cashier experience is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle customer queries discreetly and protect patient information.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Organised with proven multi-tasking ability under pressure.
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide product information and advice to customers across all ranges in the Pharmacy, consulting with the Managing Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Maintain stock control including rotation, appropriate stock levels, correct suppliers and delivery details.
• Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times, enhancing relationships with Pharmacy Customers.
• Work effectively as part of the Pharmacy team, being flexible and adaptable in all areas of operation.
• Maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with colleagues at all times.
• Fulfil requests for over-the-counter medicines using WWHAM questioning and refer to the Pharmacist where appropriate.
• Adhere to security procedures with cash and receipts.
• Keep the Pharmacy clean and tidy and report Health and Safety issues to the Pharmacy Manager.
• Participate in training and development programmes provided by the Pharmacy.
• Any other duties as required.
