Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy in Finglas seeks a part-time Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor to deliver excellent customer service and expert product advice. You will maintain stock and assist across pharmacy operations under the guidance of the Managing Pharmacist.

The role focuses on friendly, professional customer interactions, accurate information sharing, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily tasks within a community setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Pharmacy/Retail/Hospitality preferred.
• Cashier experience an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to use discretion when addressing customer queries and to treat customer/patient information confidentially.
• Good attention to detail is essential.
• Organised with a proven ability to multi-task under pressure.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide product information and advice to customers across all product ranges in the Pharmacy, consulting with the Managing Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Maintain stock control including rotation of stock and ensuring correct deliveries.
• Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times, enhancing relationships with customers.
• Work effectively as part of the Pharmacy team, flexible and adaptable across areas of operations.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues at all times.
• Fulfil requests for over-the-counter medicines using appropriate questioning and refer to Pharmacist when needed.
• Adhere to security procedures with cash and receipts handling.
