Apleona is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant to join our team in Donegal. You will support kitchen operations, prepare and serve food, and help maintain HACCP standards while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in kitchen prep and a proactive, reliable approach, with strong teamwork and clear communication with all staff levels. Monday to Sunday shifts, 20 hours per week, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• At least 6 months of experience in a similar capacity.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with all staff levels.
• Be a team player with strong time management and organisational skills.
• Motivated, enthusiastic and reliable.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift as required in the kitchen.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all food and products are prepared and served to standard according to recipes and serving guidelines.
• Fill in where needed to ensure customer service and efficient operations.
• Prepare required paperwork, forms, reports, and schedules in an organised and timely manner.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working condition per maintenance programs.
• Support HACCP compliance and maintain cleaning schedules for floors, walls and storage areas.
• Oversee training of personnel in safe operation of equipment and utensils.
