Job summary

Apleona is seeking a Chef/cook to join our team at a residential care home in Newbridge, Co Kildare. This is a part-time role averaging 16-20 hours per week, with shifts from 9:30 to 19:00.

Flexible scheduling requires 3 out of 7 days. The position is a temporary contract of 3 months to one year, focusing on balanced menus, dietary requirements, HACCP, and working under the supervision of the manager.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar food service environment.
• Good level of English.
• Passion and hunger for food and ingredients.
• Reliable and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all daily menus are balanced and meet our customer requirements of producing high-quality food.
• To ensure all client requirements are met, including any dietary requirements.
• To ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety and HACCP are maintained in the catering facility.
• To attend any mandatory training.
• To follow any procedures and policies in the workplace.
• To report all complaints to the manager.
