Job summary

The Rehab Group in Ireland is seeking an Assistant Area Manager on a fixed‑term 6‑month, part‑time 22.5 hours contract. The role supports planning, development and delivery of rehabilitative and vocational training at National Learning Network sites in Sligo and Leitrim, using a mix of in‑centre and blended learning.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualification in Business, Administration, Education or Social Sciences.
• QQI/HETAC Supervisory Management qualification would be advantageous.
• Experience in supervisory/management roles is beneficial.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Experience working with people with a disability in a training environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple initiatives.
• Commitment to teamwork, dignity, justice, advocacy and quality.
• Clear understanding of the department's goals and objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall management and development of service user training programmes including HSE and CETB-funded programmes.
• Provide support in day-to-day HR administration including communications, motivation, training and welfare.
• Manage progress records and reports for service users, ensuring confidentiality.
• Support revision and updating of programmes to meet Quality Standards and Certification requirements.
• Assist with recruitment of service users by liaising with relevant agencies.
