Job summary

Vantive is offering a six-month or longer Co-Op placement at its Castlebar site in County Mayo. You will join the Operational Excellence team to drive OEE improvements, data-driven decision-making and digitalisation initiatives.

The role focuses on enhancing manufacturing performance, real-time data collection and KPI reporting, with exposure to Power BI and lean methodologies within a global healthcare manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Student studying Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Data Analytics or similar discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance site OEE dashboards.
• Support real-time production data collection and reporting.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and other performance-monitoring tools.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Categorise and analyse equipment downtime.
• Identify performance losses, constraints and bottlenecks.
• Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Automate KPI reporting to reduce manual reporting.
• Support process mapping, standardisation and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Track project tasks and deliverables through automated systems.
• Present findings and improvement recommendations to teams.
