Vantive in Castlebar, Ireland, seeks a Manufacturing Technologist / Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will work with Production and Engineering to maintain and improve equipment performance, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

The role offers hands-on impact in a collaborative environment with strong growth potential and a focus on advanced manufacturing operations in healthcare products.

Qualifications

• Essential: trade qualification (electrical or mechanical) or a 3rd level degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with manufacturing/pharmaceutical experience.
• Desirable: multi-skilled certifications or additional technical qualifications.
• Exposure to pneumatics, hydraulics, or low-voltage control systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support the maintenance and performance of plant equipment and manufacturing systems.
• Diagnose faults and resolve issues through structured problem-solving approaches.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement of new and existing equipment.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts through effective inventory management.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance activities to high safety and quality standards.
• Contribute to audits by providing accurate technical documentation and insights.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure clear communication and smooth operations.
