Job summary

Stryker Group in Limerick is offering a cooperative placement focused on manufacturing operations. You will coordinate production, support daily management records and collaborate with NPI teams to prioritise builds.

The programme emphasizes training development and cross-training across multi-disciplinary teams. You will work closely with the Operations Supervisor and colleagues to ensure quality standards and timely delivery, while gaining exposure to Lean and cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently completing an Irish/Northern Irish university qualification in Business, Manufacturing or Management.
• Able to analyze and resolve complex testing or system issues with independent judgement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and basic PC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritise production to meet customer requirements, maintain inventory levels and KPIs.
• Communicate and record output levels.
• Support the Supervisor and Operations Associate in maintaining Daily Management records.
• Collaborate with NPI teams to prioritise and progress builds through the line.
• Identify and manage training priorities vs business needs monthly.
• Support the Line Support Team with forming a training schedule and ensuring execution.
• Support the implementation and scheduling of training for document changes.
• Develop Production Training plans for new hires and cross-training for employees.
• Upkeep of SLMS training and ensure training is recorded in line with QMS.
• Review overtime needs with Operations Supervisor and coordinate staffing.
• Create Staffing Plans and ensure quality standards are communicated.
• Maintain reports on quality and production metrics.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities Lean/Cost Reduction.
