Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a 24-month fixed-term contract on a night shift in Monksland, Athlone. The role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and operates on a Sunday to Friday schedule with specific night hours.

The role focuses on day-to-day warehouse activities in a cGMP manufacturing environment, ensuring SOPs and safety procedures are followed and supporting operational readiness at the Athlone facility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience performing warehouse activities in a cGMP commercial manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in an inventory management system such as SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledgeable of regulatory and GMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day warehouse activities to meet schedules while maintaining GMP compliance.
• Maintain training and safety procedures for equipment, processes, and facility.
• Maintain the Warehouse Quality System by following SOPs and cGMP requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving operational problems.
• Act as SME on the Dispensary area and material sampling.
• Transfer dispensed materials to the manufacturing environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and report issues.
• Ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety responsibilities are carried out.
• Report to Warehouse Associate Lead/Supervisor on area performance.
• Author SOPs, forms/logbooks, and job roles as needed.
