Job summary

AstraZeneca in Athlone is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a 24-month fixed term night shift contract. You will perform day-to-day warehouse activities in a cGMP environment, ensure SOP compliance, and support operational readiness at the Athlone facility.

This role is fully onsite, with night shifts Sunday to Friday, and involves training junior staff and contributing to continuous improvement. We value proven warehouse experience, familiarity with SAP/inventory systems, and strong teamwork

Qualifications

Proven experience performing warehouse activities in a cGMP commercial manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in an inventory management system e.g. SAP or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel & Word.
Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledgeable of regulatory and GMP requirements.

Responsibilities

Performing day-to-day warehouse activities to meet schedules with GMP compliance.
Ensuring training and safety procedures for equipment, processes and facilities are up to date.
Maintaining the Warehouse Quality System by adhering to SOPs and cGMP.
Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving operational problems as they arise.
Serving as SME on the Dispensary area and material sampling activities.
