AstraZeneca in Athlone is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a 24-month fixed term night shift contract. You will perform day-to-day warehouse activities in a cGMP environment, ensure SOP compliance, and support operational readiness at the Athlone facility.
This role is fully onsite, with night shifts Sunday to Friday, and involves training junior staff and contributing to continuous improvement. We value proven warehouse experience, familiarity with SAP/inventory systems, and strong teamwork
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Monksland, Athlone
FTC Night Shifts: 8.25 hr. 37.5 hours per week Average Work Week (12x5 Operations)
Sunday to Friday (Sunday 23:00-07:00, Monday to Friday 22:45-07:00 to allow for shift handover)
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the day-to-day warehouse activities at the Athlone facility. They ensure that all warehouse activities are completed as per approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), in a safe manner and in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This role is pivotal in supporting the execution of operational readiness in Alexion's manufacturing facility. The individual in this position is expected to represent Alexion Pharmaceutical interests, objectives, and policies in a professional and responsible manner.
