Job summary

Crosscare Irish Diaspora Support Project is seeking a Night Project Worker to join our Homeless, Youth, Information and Advocacy teams at Haven House.

Working full time on a 7-day night rota, you will support residents and maintain a safe, welcoming environment, completing required paperwork and reporting to project leaders.

The role requires Level 6 NFQ in social care or related field and at least one year of residential unit experience; nights or shift work experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 6 NFQ qualification in social care/ addiction studies/ health care/ disability.
• At least 1 year of experience in a residential unit with individuals with complex needs.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
• Clearly demonstrated client focus.
• Experience working nights and/or shift work.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, welcoming environment in busy emergency and temporary accommodation units.
• Maintain high quality, safe living environment following safety protocols.
• Provide wide range of supports, interventions and supervision to residents.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork to Project leader/ Deputy Project Leader.
• Update Pass system and statistics daily; keep event folders up to date.
