Job summary

Crosscare in Dublin is seeking a Night Project Worker to join our Homeless, Youth, Information and Advocacy teams. The role involves providing a safe, welcoming environment in busy emergency and temporary accommodation units.

You will work a full-time 38.5-hour week on a 7-day rota including nights, with permanent contract and a salary of €34,999–€49,205 depending on experience. Responsibilities include teamwork to support residents, maintaining safety and cleanliness, completing reports,

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 6 NFQ qualification in social care or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a residential unit with individuals with complex needs.
• Ability to work nights and on a 7-day rota.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.
• Maintain a high-quality, safe living environment by following safety protocols.
• Provide a wide range of supports, interventions and supervision to residents.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork to the Project leader.
• Update Pass system and statistics daily and record significant events.
