Job summary

Crosscare is hiring a Night Project Worker for Haven House in Dublin. The role involves providing a safe and welcoming environment in busy emergency and temporary accommodation units, with supervision and supports for residents.

You will manage documentation, daily statistics, and pass events, while adhering to safety protocols and working the night shift. The position is permanent, with a salary in the €34,999.00 - €49,205.00 per year range depending on experience, and it requires minimum Level

Qualifications

• Must have Level 6 (or working towards) on the National Framework of Qualifications in social care/addiction studies/health care/disability.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a residential unit with individuals with complex needs.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide a safe and welcoming environment in busy emergency and temporary accommodation units.
• Maintain a high quality, safe and healthy living environment by following safety and security protocols.
• Provide a wide range of supports, interventions and supervision to residents.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and reports are completed and submitted to the Project Leader and Deputy.
• Update Pass system and statistics daily and keep event folders current.

Position Title: Night Project Worker

The Role: Night Project Worker

General Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide a safe and welcoming environment to residents, staff, volunteers and visitors in busy emergency and temporary accommodation units.
• To maintain a high quality, safe and healthy living environment through adherence to safety and security protocols and ensuring the environment is maintained to a high standard at all times
• To provide a wide range of supports, interventions and supervision to residents
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and reports are completed and submitted as required to Project leader & Deputy Project Leader.
• Ensuring the Pass system and Statistics are updated daily.
• Ensuring all significant events is recorded and folder is up to date.
• Minimum Level 6 (or working towards a level 6) on the National Framework of Qualifications in social care/ addiction studies/ health care / disability
• Have a minimum of 1-year experience working in an residential unit with individuals with complex needs
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
• Clearly demonstrated client focus
• Experience in working nights and/or shift work.
