Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Ireland seeks a part-time, casual Night Porter role within a hotel environment. The position focuses on delivering outstanding guest service, supporting late check-ins, early check-outs, and ensuring high standards across Conference & Banqueting, Bar and Front Office operations.

You will work as part of a team, maintain security, promote hotel sales, and uphold hygiene and safety policies while remaining flexible to meet resident and guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Offer the highest level of guest service in all areas to meet standards.
• Complete duties allocated by the Night Manager for Conference & Banqueting, Bar and Front Office.
• Follow the Night Porter checklist and complete work to standard.
• Assist Night Manager with late check-in and early check-out; provide high service levels.
• Maintain vigilance and security in cooperation with the Night Manager.
• Deliver Guest Care in line with the Hotel Service Excellence Programme.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of departmental products and hotel facilities.
• Work as part of the team, be aware of colleagues and their needs, stay flexible.
• Promote sales within the department and across the hotel.
• Show pride and commitment in your area of work.
• Attend training sessions as required.
• Attend appraisal / assessment as required.
• Attend Hotel and Departmental Meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Maintain all company policies, procedures, hygiene and safety regulations.
• Comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing and Employment.

SCOPE & GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
