Job summary

Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone is seeking a dedicated Night Porter to join our hospitality team. You will play a vital role in ensuring guest safety, security, and comfort during evening and overnight hours.

Responsibilities include patrols, guest assistance, lobby upkeep, luggage help, switchboard duties, and event room setup. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with availability for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospitality role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends, including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises and guests by conducting routine patrols and monitoring security systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests by answering questions, addressing concerns, and fulfilling requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby, public areas, and back-of-house areas as needed.
• Assist guests with luggage upon arrival and departure.
• Operate the switchboard and respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and professional way.
• Set up and prepare function rooms for breakfast or other events.
• Report any maintenance or security issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete all paperwork and logs accurately and efficiently.
