Job summary

Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone is seeking a dedicated Night Porter to join their hospitality team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of guests during the evening and overnight hours.

Responsibilities include patrolling the premises, assisting guests, handling the switchboard, and preparing rooms for events while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends, including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security through patrols and monitoring systems.
• Provide exceptional guest service and address requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of lobby and public areas.
• Assist guests with luggage on arrival/departure.
• Operate switchboard and respond to inquiries politely.
• Set up function rooms for breakfast or events.
• Report maintenance or security issues to relevant staff.
• Complete all paperwork and logs accurately.
