The Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone is seeking an Accommodation Assistant to maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas. You will clean rooms, change linens, restock amenities, and ensure facilities meet hotel standards while upholding safety protocols.

Successful candidates are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team, with flexibility to cover weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards and procedures.
• Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all guest supplies are well-stocked.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the relevant department for prompt resolution.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and colleagues.
• Assist guests with any inquiries or requests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.
