Job summary

GitLab seeks a New Business Solutions Architect for the EMEA region to guide customers through the AI-powered DevSecOps platform, aligning technical needs with business goals across the software lifecycle.

Reporting to a regional manager, you will drive technical evaluations, shape architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate platform adoption and revenue growth through value-driven engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar
• Strong understanding of modern DevSecOps practices across the SDLC
• Hands-on familiarity with GitLab or similar CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of cloud computing and deployment, security, and operations
• Ability to lead proofs of concept/value and workshops
• Clear, adaptable technical communication for varied audiences
• Proactive relationship building with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to show how GitLab meets technical and business needs
• Own the technical evaluation process including design, workshops, and tender-related components
• Collaborate with regional sales to shape account strategies and drive new or expanded customers
• Build relationships with practitioners and business leaders to promote GitLab adoption
• Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices
• Share customer feedback with Product Management and Engineering to inform roadmap
• Maintain and grow technical expertise and create reusable collateral
• Invest in personal growth and knowledge sharing within the team
