GitLab is seeking a Senior CX Platform Engineer to empower Customer Experience teams with AI-driven workflows. You’ll design agentic solutions using Claude Code and GitLab Duo, build robust MCP servers, and ensure secure, auditable integrations across enterprise systems.

The role emphasizes production-level Python/TypeScript, AWS infrastructure, Terraform, and CI/CD with strong collaboration across CX, Product, and Engineering. Remote worldwide with a competitive compensation package.

Competenze

Experience building production software from ambiguity to production and handing off to teams.
Hands-on use of coding agents and production-quality code in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with large language models, tool use, MCP servers, and evaluation workflows.

Mansioni

Use Claude Code, GitLab Duo, and other agents as the primary dev environment.
Build and maintain agent harnesses and CI/CD checks.
Ship agents and multi-step workflows for account research and customer onboarding.
Develop MCP servers and connectors for enterprise systems with governance and data controls.
Evolve CX Platform gateway, AWS infra (ECS, RDS, Lambda), Terraform, and deployment paths.
Deliver production-grade Python/TypeScript with CI/CD, monitoring, and runbooks.
Collaborate with Customer Success and Education teams to enable field usage.
Mentor engineers and raise code-review standards.
